FAQs

Questions about our custom DTF prints and its process.

First time printing DTF?  Please read through all of the information below.  It may seem like a lot to cover, but, once you have the basics down, you’ll get quality prints without the stress.

There is no minimum length, but sheets are 22″ wide. Keep your artwork inside the 22"in or you may have artwork "cutoff". We are not responsible for fixing or altering files (without a design fee charge)

All images must be “ganged” in one large PNG. This maximizes your value and increases our ability to produce orders promptly. You can prepare your gang sheet in a program that has the ability to export high quality PNG files.  Adobe Illustrator, Corel Draw & Canva PRO are some of those options.

Our Gang Builder tool is a great asset. Use it if you need it. That's why we created it!

We are NOT responsible for images uploaded with low dpi/quality.  If your gang sheet is low-resolution dpi but you save it as a 300dpi image, your images are still low quality. Please make sure every individual image is a minimum of 150dpi, which is a "minimum quality" requirement for a good print.  If you have “erased background”, be sure to check for stray pixels, because If there are stray pixels, they show up on your final print.

Shipping Method - Prints are shipped ROLLED UP and are not cut apart.

* Once your PNG or art is submitted, there can be no edits (on our end) but you may cancel the order if printing has not started. We have a quick turnaround, so don’t delay if you need to cancel the order.

** If your order contains trademark or copyright images, you may be required to sign a release form stating you have the right to print the artwork. Stewart Printing Company will not be responsible or liable for any artwork printed that may fall under said violations.

What type of artwork do you need to print shirts?
At least 300 dpi at full print size. Also, CMYK and not RGB.

What is the "minimum" I have to order on shirts?
We have the ability to print "on demand", which means we can print as little as a single shirt. If you're looking for screen-printing, it's 25. Embroidery is a minimum of 10.
